INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup poha 
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp mustard seeds 
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • Pinch of asafoetida (Hing)
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 chopped tomato
  • any other veggies of your choice (chopped) 
  • ½–1 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste 

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Firstly rinse the cup of poha thoroughly and keep it aside until soften 
  • Then, in a kadhai add oil to heat 
  • Now add mustard seeds and cumin seeds 
  • Saute until cumin seeds turn brown (aromatic) 
  • Then add all the chopped veggies and saute until the veggies become brownish 
  • Then add salt, chilli powder and turmeric powder 
  • Now add poha in the kadhai and mix it properly 
  • And your delicious poha is ready
